It pays homage to the master craftsmen ofthe time, to patience and to the fine, delicate work carried out according to traditional methods. This here is a lower limited line of gold-plated and silver-plated petrol lighters: 1,000 each only from every design. Two designs was produced. One with a fleur-de-lys in the middle of the front and another with three fleur-de-lys in a row in the middle. From every serial was a gold-plated and a silver-plated petrol lighter created. This serial was ONLY aviable in france and not in other countries! This is why this serial is not listed in the big black catalogue from the limited editions. The lighter is PETROL! Same as Jubile, but we can say Jubile is the same, then from this serial are LOWER numbers produced. Not 1500 from each as Jubile, here all stamped on bottom with xxxx / 1000! Gaulish coins show the first designs which look similar to modern fleurs-de-lis. Im regulären Handel nach 17Jahren nicht mehr zu bekommen, in Frankreich ausverkauft! Diese limitierte Serie aus dem Jahre 1991 war nur in Frankreich erhaeltlich. Sie wurde im Jahre 1991 neben der Serie JUBILE aufgelegt, auch als Benzinfeuerzeug. Da diese Serie nicht ausserhalb von Frankreich verkauft wurde, gab es keine Werbung und sie wurde auch nicht in den Katalog der Serien weltweit aufgenommen. Diese Feuerzeugserie hat somit auch für Sammlerr eine besondere historische Vergangenheit und aufgrund der Benzintechnik einen speziellen Sonderplatz in der Reihe der limitierten Editionen und neben dem weltweit vertriebenen Jubile. Das Feuerzeug wurde ebenfalls per Handarbeit gefertigt und es gibt 4 Serien dazu. 2 goldene Serien und 2 silberne Serien. Jeweils mit einer Lilie auf der Vorderseite und eine zweite Serie mit drei Lilien auf der Vorderseite. Ebenso sind alle vier Serien BENZINFEUERZEUGE! Die einzigen Serien die seit Beginn der Umstellung auf Gas in den fünfziger Jahren mit dem Jubile produziert worden sind. Alle Feuerzeuge wurden je 1000 mal hergestellt und die Seriennummer am Boden ist im Muster xxxx / 1000 eingeschlagen. Von mir unberuehrt, ungezuendet und unbenutzt! War nur im Ladengeschaeft ausgestellt und hat daher einige ganz feine, kaum sichtbare Haarlinien. Zustand würde ich selber als 9,9 von 10 bestimmen. Danach nur noch mit Handschuhen angefasst! Das mittlere Blatt ist oben und unten zugespitzt, die aeusseren Blaetter haengen herab und sind oben nach aussen umgebogen. Bis heute gelten Lilien als Symbol für Reinheit, Mildtaetigkeit und Keuschheit. Das Unicodesymbol der heraldische Lilie ist U+269C (9884).  In der franzoesischen Heraldik ist die Lilie unter dem Namen Fleur-de-Lys, Fleur de lys, auch Fleur de Lis bekannt, franzoesisch für „Lilienblume“, „Lilienbluete“ bezeichnet diese heraldische Lilie mit speziellem Bezug zu Frankreich. Jahrhundert dem merowingischen Koenig Chlodwig von der Jungfrau Maria ueberreicht wurde. Die katholische Kirche bekraeftigte die Legende spaeter durch die Assoziation Marias mit diesem Symbol. Seit 1179 schmueckte sie das Wappen der Koenige von Frankreich – drei goldene Lilien in blauem Feld (Schild). Sie sollten seine Laeuterung durch die Taufe zeigen. Seitdem diente die Lilie den fraenkischen Koenigen als Zeichen der Koenigswuerde. Aber schon die koeniglichen Insignien der Franken waren mit Lilien verziert. Es wurde von Koenig Philippe I. von Frankreich im 11. Jahrhundert angenommen. Sein Enkel Louis VII. war der Erste, der die Azure seme-de-lis Or (ein blauer Schild mit einem dichten Muster von kleinen, goldenen Lilien) als sein Abzeichen waehlte und bald wurde dieses sehr eng mit seinem Land in Verbindung gebracht. 1376 wurde das Emblem von Charles V. von Frankreich in drei goldene Lilien auf blauem Grund geaendert. Um das 14. Jahrhundert wurde die Lilie so eng mit der Herrschaft über Frankreich in Verbindung gebracht, dass der englische Koenig Edward III. sein Abzeichen mit der Lilie schmueckte, um seinen Anspruch auf die franzoesische Krone zu bekraeftigen. Sie wurde erst 1801 entfernt, als George III. den Anspruch auf den franzoesischen Thron aufgab. Sie ist das bekannteste Symbol der franzoesischen Monarchie.
